CCVG Activities at IAVCEI General Assembly Pucon, Chile

The IAVCEI General Assembly will be held at Pucon, Chile from November 14 -19, 2004. For general info see meeting webpage

The following symposia may be of interest to CCVG members

• Volcanoes, ore deposits and geothermal systems
• Environmental impacts of volcanic eruptions
• Slab, mantle and crustal contributions to Arc and Intraplate Magmatism
• Monitoring and imaging volcanoes
• Magmatic volatile budgets and controls on magma degassing

We have tentatively planned a group dinner for Monday, November 15. If you are interested, contact Tobias Fischer at fischer@unm.edu. We will also make an announcement on the mailing list.
